2019-2020 Transfer Student Scholarship

Priority Application Deadline:

Fall: June 1, 2019                 Spring: November 15, 2019

There is NO separate scholarship application for these awards.

Students are encouraged to apply early for admission to UAFS for priority consideration for Transfer Student Scholarships.  Scholarships are awarded as long as funding remains available.  All materials for the Application for Admission must be received by the deadline.

NOTE: Students must be accepted for admission, and classified as a transfer student, by the priority admission deadline for priority consideration.

Transfer Achievement Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Renewal Criteria

Amounts

  • 48-90 transferrable credit hours
  • College GPA: 3.0
  • Competitively awarded to top applicants
  • Maintain 3.0 cumulative UAFS GPA
  • Maintain full time status (30 credit hours per year recommended)
  • $9,000 over 3 years, or until degree completion
  • $3,000 for tuition and fees each year

Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Amounts

  • 48-90 transferrable credit hours
  • College GPA: 3.0
  • Member of Phi Theta Kappa (proof of membership must be submitted to Financial Aid Office by June 1, 2019 for fall and November 15, 2019 for spring)
  • Competitively awarded to top applicants
  • Maintain 3.0 cumulative UAFS GPA
  • Maintain full time status (30 credit hours per year recommended)
  • $8,000 over 2 years, or until degree completion
  • $4,000 for tuition and fees each year
